This qualification can be taken by those aged 16 years and is suitable for learners wishing to improve their competency of customer service including how best to satisfy customers’ expectations. It is designed for learners who deal with customers on a daily basis as part of their job role and is applicable to a variety of work environments. This qualification forms the competency component of the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Customer Service.
Mandatory Units
This qualification includes the following mandatory units:
• Communicate using customer service language
• Follow the rules to deliver customer service
Optional Unit(s)
Learners can choose from the available units from the optional group to make up the remaining credits of the qualification.
How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
The number of guided learning hours required for learners to achieve this qualification is between 192 and 228 depending on the combination of optional units selected.
How is the qualification assessed?
This qualification is assessed through a portfolio of evidence and learners must demonstrate their understanding of how to deal with situations in a safe and professional manner.
